Work Experience and Opportunities
For students in Year 10-13:
At Medic Mentor, our mission is to empower and support aspiring medical students across the UK to achieve their full potential and pursue their dreams of becoming doctors. We are a wellbeing and mentoring organisation that is dedicated to providing comprehensive support and guidance to students as they navigate the challenging and competitive process of gaining admission to medical school.
Through our programs, resources, and events, we aim to create a supportive and inclusive community where students can learn, grow, and develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their academic and professional pursuits. We believe that every student deserves access to high-quality education, mentorship, and support, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Medical Extra-Curricular Activities
Participating in extracurricular activities is of utmost importance for aspiring medical students. Engaging in activities outside of academics showcases a well-rounded personality and demonstrates your commitment to personal growth. However, balancing extracurriculars alongside exams and the demanding process of a medical school application can be incredibly challenging. That’s why it becomes crucial to carefully select the most medically relevant extracurricular activities that offer the most value in terms of skill development and application requirements.
