The EPQ
Alongside their A-Levels, many students choose to take the EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) which is a standalone qualification valued by universities and employers across the UK and overseas.
The EPQ is an in-depth, independent project that allows students to:
- Explore a topic of their own choosing (academic or creative)
- Develop a research question or project brief
- Plan and manage their work over several months
- Present their findings in a written report and presentation
As well as carrying UCAS points, it is particularly important in developing academic skills such as research, referencing and deep-dive learning.
