St Alban's is a Specialist Technology College with a second specialism- Inclusion - 'Cognition & Learning'.
Technology status was awarded to St Alban's Catholic High School in 1997 and has had a significant impact.

Technology lead subjects are Design & Technology, Science and Mathematics.

Specialist Status funding is invested across the school on resources and staffing.

Major impact of funding across the school has been in developing the ICT infrastructure – projectors, multi-media, Interactive White boards, hardware and software, inter/intranet, website.

Partner schools links have been developed and enhanced

Successful representation by pupils in a number of local and national initiatives, conferences, pupil voice, challenges.

Community – the views of all stakeholders inform the schools direction including through stakeholder surveys, there are a number of cross community projects supported through funding including the new environmental area, parental education classes, support mechanisms, Artist in Residence and COG’s group.
