Careers/Work Experience

 

During their time at school all students have important decisions to make, these include::

-Year 9                        Option choices

-Year 11                      Post 16 choices

-Year 12/13                 Employment with training, Higher Education (HE) applications

If you are unsure about anything, need further information, advice or guidance Mrs Shemming and Mrs Carter our Careers Coordinators are available in the careers office.

Independent Advice

Mrs Pauline Young (independent Careers Advisor) will be in school at various points throughout the year offering advice and guidance to our students.
Students can also contact the National Careers Service Helpline on 0800 100 900 between 8am and 10pm seven days a week. This is a free service.


NEED HELP WRITING A CV?
Year 10
students learn how to write a CV during PSHEE.  Information sheets can be obtained from the Careers Office.

POST 16
All students have the opportunity to attend HE open days.
Full support is given with HE applications and for those students looking for employment with training.
