Pope's call to pray
Prayer for Syria
O God of peace,You are peace itself; Your ways cannot be understood when we are caught up in violence or engaged in conflict. Grant that those who are one in heart may persevere in what is good and that those in conflict may forget evil and so be healed.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever.
Thank you for this wonderful day, filled with opportunities.
We pray that you may guard and help us get through all the obstacles ahead.
Lord, protect and look after us and please be there when we seek your advice.
Lord fill us with your Holy Spirit;
St Alban...pray for us.
