Interim Report Gradings Trial
During the Summer term, we propose to change the way that effort, behaviour and independent learning are graded by moving to a 5 tier system:
2. Very Good
4. Improvement needed
5. Significant concern
The rationale behind such a change is to encourage our students to be aspirational; it was felt that the previous system that included the option of a “Satisfactory” result did not necessarily encourage this mindset.

Weekly Voluntary Masses
We have a weekly voluntary Mass in the school Chapel at 8.50 every Wednesday, open to all students. The register will be taken as you arrive in the Chapel, and Mass will be finished by 9.10 or shortly after, in time for lesson 1. If you would like to come to Mass, please go straight to the Chapel by 8.50 am.
Thank you for this wonderful day, filled with opportunities
We pray that you may guard and help us get through all the obstacles ahead.
Lord, protect and look after us and please be there when we seek your advice.
Lord fill us with your Holy Spirit;
St Alban...pray for us.
